Voleurz

Voleurz is a clothing company based out of Vancouver, B.C. and it's probably the most inspiring one to come around in decades. Ideas from a designer/mountain biker, and a snoboarder/filmer, have brought this brand to a high point within the last 7 years and their line of clothing/accessories is just cool. They have been gathering all their momentum from the snow industry but it seems that they are quite open to all aspects of kids having fun outside... I wish that one day mountain biking would be open to brands like this because i sure as hell know the riders are. When your local bike shop looks like a home hardware with bikes on the walls and spandex on the shelves, why would they try and sell to them?

What I'm saying is that there needs to be a serious change in our bike shops and retailers so that companies like this can come in and succeed. I hope in the next couple years, someone can figure this one out because right now, 90% of bike shops are about as cool as the $1 store.

Even if Voleurz doesn't push into the bike shops, i hope they will make movies like "Outdoor Graduation" for MTB.

Thanks for the props. We've have been considering adding mountain biking back into our films but I don't think you'll see our stuff in MTB shops anytime soon. For the time being keep your eye out for some surf stuff coming in this off season and and maybe some MTB segments in the not too distant future.
